About The Dear Israel Project

The collective power of our voices can be transformative.
The heinious events of October 7th, the ongoing war, and global rise in anti-semitism has irrevocably changed the world.
Despite profound loss, it has also created a worldside sense of soldiarity for all who love Israel and its people.

This solidarity has inspired us to create a vehicle where supportive voices from around the world can be heard -- and shared -- so those who live in or love Israel can draw strength from words and images of hope and connection.

Our mission is to channel this powerful connection and resilience into a global collection of loving messages which are featured in the Dear Israel Project Interactive Mosaic.  The mosaic -- to be featured on this website's home page for all to add to -- will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Imagine the impact of a global Mosaic, composed of at least 24,901 messages of love -- the circumference of the earth itself. Picture the comfort it will bring to a parent who lost a child at the Nova Festival, or to a child whose parent was brutally murdered on October 7. Visualize the spport it will offer to the family of a hostage or an injured or deceased soldier...or to to families displaced due to war. Or to anyone who has felt the impact of anti-semitism.

We invite you to make this vision a global reality in three important ways:

  1. On the Home page, add a photo and message to the Interactive Mosaic once it is "live".

  2. Share your message with others in your circle or organization and encourage them to also particpate.

  3. Help defray the technology and operating expenses to keep the Dear Israel Project alive by contributing as little as $5, $18, $36, or more if you are able. We will shortly have a link here for you -- an/or a synagogue or group you are a part of -- to make your tax deductible gift.

Mission

The mission of the Dear Israel Project is to bring people and communities together to express solidarity, strength and connection to Israel through a global collection of loving messages that will be included in an interactive online mosaic. Messages of hope and support from around the world will continually be uploaded to our growing interactive mosaic on this, the Dear Israel Project website, with the goal of collecting at least 24,901 messages, representing the 24,901 miles that make up the circumference of the earth. The mosaic of messages will be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing endless encouragement, strength, and love from people around the world to the people of Israel.
